Qld: Elderly man dies in western smash
BRISBANE, Aug 17 AAP - An elderly man was killed this morning when his car and a road
train crashed in western Queensland.
A police spokeswoman said the car was westbound on the Warrego Highway, near Dalby,
around 8am (AEST) when it veered into the rear wheels of a road train.
The man, believed to be the only person in the car, died instantly.
His body is yet to be formally identified.
